Past Experience and Achievements:
Ross was appointed Allfinanz CEO in October 2008. Previously he was Chief Operating Officer and elected to the board of directors of Allfinanz in February 2003 after acting as Allfinanz's Chief Technology Officer for three years.

BA (Mod) in Computer Science, Trinity College, Dublin.

Alby van Wyk

Past Experience and Achievements:
Alby has worked in the financial services area for the past 13 years, including eight years at Old Mutual (a FTSE100 listed insurer) where he held senior marketing management and strategy roles. Alby also spearheaded the Old Mutual's company wide eCommerce initiatives for two years before his departure. He then joined Interactive Investor International in London - which listed during the dotcom boom before being subsequently bought by AMP - as their Business Development Director. Alby shortly thereafter joined Allfinanz in March 2001.

Paul Hackett

Past Experience and Achievements:
Paul joined Allfinanz in May 2006 after four years with a leading UK Financial Services eCommerce consultancy Practiv. In the ten years prior to Practiv, Paul held Sales Management positions with the international division of NASDAQ quoted eFunds and Dublin based Foreign Exchange Software company Cognotec.  He also managed to fit in two years as a semi professional Rugby Union player when the game turned professional back in 1995!

Qualifications:
HND Mechanical Engineering.

Yoichi Hayashi

Past Experience and Achievements:
Yoichi joined Allfinanz in March 2009 after four years in a managerial role with Hewlett Packard. Prior to that Yoichi held Sales Management positions with Canadian software vendor Solcorp and with IQ Financial Systems, an American trading support and risk management software house. Yoichi started his career at Kyodo News which was a exclusive agent of financial data and news provider Telerate in Japan.

Paul Donnelly

Past Experience and Achievements:
Paul brings more than 20 years experience in the software products industry to Allfinanz. In previous roles, he has been responsible for all aspects of product management (including product definition, positioning, promotion and pricing) of a $75m annual run-rate middleware product, leading-edge financial prediction software, and software to standardise the sharing and communication of configuration information in enterprise environments.
 
Paul has held senior product management and strategy roles at IONA Technologies, Prediction Dynamics and Parallel Graphics. He began his career with eight years at Siemens, initially in London, and then in Munich.
 
Paul is a member of the Board of Guardians & Directors at the Coombe Women & Infants University Hospital (the largest provider of Women's healthcare in Ireland), and was formerly Executive Committee Member of the Irish Software Association.

Colm Kennedy

Past Experience and Achievements:
Previously Colm was Chief Operating Officer for Newbay Software. Having joined Newbay in 2006, he was a key member of the executive management team that rapidly grew the company. During his tenure Newbay made acquisitions, employed over 200 people, secured venture capital funding and long-term contracts with global mobile operators.

Prior to his role at Newbay Software, Colm was co-founder at Compisol, a private software company specialising in software services for the financial services sector that was recognised in the Deloitte Fast 50 2003 awards  based on 3 years profitable growth.

Colm has delivered technology programmes to the Insurance sector most recently with Quinn Insurance, he frequently speaks at technology events and has published work in the engineering field.

Vanessa Pitt

Past Experience and Achievements:
Vanessa joined AllFinanz in November 2006. Her previous experience includes 2 years working in RTE (The Irish State Broadcaster) as TV Projects Finance Manager. Prior to that she worked for Microsoft in Dublin for 7 years . Her roles there included Financial Planning and Analysis manager for their European Operations center and Financial controller of the Home & Entertainment Operations Division, which included overseeing the launch of Xbox in Europe.Vanessa qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG in 1996 where she worked mainly in their audit department.

Ciaran Treanor

Past Experience and Achievements:
Ciaran brings over 18 years of software product development experience to Allfinanz. Most recently Ciaran was Chief Technology Officer at Cusp Point Software, a Software-as-a-Service document management vendor, and in the six years prior held senior management roles at CAPE Technologies. There, as CTO-Products, he was responsible for the production of GSM roaming and revenue assurance software products for the global telecommunications operator market. In October 2007 CAPE Technologies was acquired by WeDo Consulting.

Ciaran joined CAPE from Xelector, an intermediary providing white-label financial services comparison shopping, where he held the role of lead architect. Previously, at Broadcom Eireann Research, he ran the telecommunications services research and consulting organisation.
